Not Billy of course, he’s a cool dude… but sadly this past month Billy has been bugged by an injury to his back leg – a problem with a badly pulled muscle, obtained whilst in the process of a number two – only Billy could do himself an injury in this way! A weeks rest and some strong medicine did the trick, only for the muscle to pull again two weeks later… he’s back to normal now, or as close as for Billy Dog but we’ll be making sure he takes it easy for a while so as not to aggravate it.
The vet when diagnosing Billy did say ‘make sure he rests’ and then smirked ‘although, being a greyhound I’m sure you won’t have a hard job making him rest’
Tis very true – like a brilliant patient Billy got several gold stars for ‘resting’ – but minus gold stars for milking it!
so poor ickle injured billy dog – we’re hoping some warmer weather might make this nasty go away!
